When I needed to spent some time waiting in a different part of the town, I needed to have a look elsewhere. So by switching the area, I switched also the environment. And to say it straight ahead: Not good. It started very promising and then let me down. `United Bakeries `__ at Majorstua looks much smaller from the outside than it really is. That's a plus because you'll probably always get a place to sit, drink and enjoy. Especially in the back-area the walls are covered with power-sockets. For almost every coffee-grainer there's a double power socket. It looks like it's made for Nerds. But that's where it ends with the nerd compatibility. Unfortunately. The WiFi is open, but you get redirected to "welcome-page" first, where you have to press a button in order to be allowed to enjoy the wonders of the internet. This literally fucks up your open tabs in your browser - all get redirected to that page. Thanks for that. This is one of the big sins and already made my day. Another thing is the coffee: If you order a single latte, you get a huge cup where the bottom is barely covered with coffee, the rest is milk. Nothing against a lot of milk in a coffee, but that was more like milk with a bit of coffee (for the color, ofc.). As huge as the desk is, as few people were there to take your order. I am willing in their defence to acknowledge that it's Christmas time and people are tired. So maybe I should give them another chance and to prove me wrong. Beside these *technical* issues it might be a fine place to hang out for a chat with friends. * WiFi: stable, but fucking with your tabs. * Power: yes, a lot. * Coffee: yes, of course * Mate: no :( * Food: Yes.
